Diffuse posterocenteral disc protrusion is seen at L5-S1 intervertebral disc level cousing stretching of posterior longitudinal ligament and causing sintificant compression over the thecal sac and couda equina never roots that level. In addition ther is mild stenosis of bilateral neural foramina at that level.
