Penta containts 5 vaccines, DTP, HEB b , h influ b Hexa contains 6 vaccine, above plus IPV which is for polio. Not all Government centres give all IPV doses. They give oral polio vaccine instead. If 2 doses are given at 6 and 14 weeks Baby needs at least 3 doses with 1 booster. You can give the remaining 2 doses now. It’s a transitional vaccine. Government still gives just opv instead of ivp. So it’s nothing worrisome, but should be done.
Next Steps
Get one now f/b booster after 4 weeks

Yes , infanrix Hexa and hexaxim are same vaccines (6 in one) , just different brands , can be interchanged if other is not in supply. Pentavac (5 in one) , so IPV is given separately if needed At 20 months , pentaxim (5 in one vaccine) is recommended Its correct as per IAP / UIP vaccination guidelines

Infarix hexa and hexaxim are the same. At around 1.5 year, booster is given. but in this booster, hepatitis b is not included. And so pentaxim is given. Kindly trust your paediatrician
