In addition to ur antidiabetic medicines ,diet is also to be followed. Use ragi and other millets in all ur meals.Avoid rice as far as possible.csn take unpolished rice, red rice. Now and then can include wheat dishes. Eat plenty of vegetables, fruits and greengram sprouts in all ur meals. Restrict oil use, sugars, carbohydrates. Use wholegrams, pumpkin, papaya, sweet potato these are all slow glycaemic index foods. Have a brisk exercise, yoga, walking, sports schedule everyday for an hour.atleast. Walnuts, almonds, figs are also good in controlling blood sugar. Eat ur meals in instalments, not as a wholemeal quantity at a time. Check ur bloodsugar levels once qaurterly.
