Depression. Anxiety. Inability to ejaculate (erections are no problem) D-veniz 50 once daily for last 3 months. Ejaculation is no problem if Dveniz is missed for 3-4 days. BUT the Patient becomes aggressive and Irritable if Dveniz is skipped. Patient also irritable if not able to have sexual satiety. Who should he refer to?

Patient must take consultation with psychiatrist. Patient is taking antidepressant (desvenlafaxine). Sexual problem occurring as a side effect of this drug.  If he stops drug depressive symptoms reappears. So it would be better to shift the patient fromDveniz to aother antidepressants like mirtazepine, bupropion or agomelatin, which are safer in view of sexual side effect.
