Dear friend, I will like to know more about her symptoms. Self harming behavior , taking pills to get sleep points towards depression, substance abuse disorder or may be a personality disorder. Any of the above mentioned illness needs to be treated on urgent basis. If she is refusing treatment take help of her parents and explain them about her changed behavior . All the best.

hello.. this is a very serious problem , she surely have some mental illness..you must take her to psychiatrist .if you cannot manage ,inform to her parents about her condition ... try to find out the reason for her problem..she might be in depression .. dont leave her alone .. sleeping piils shoulnot be taken without prescription
