I feel depressed and sleepy all the day. And also I can't concentrate and focus on my studies due to depression and sleepiness all the day. Can I take modafinil without doctors advice.

Taking any medication without Doctor's advise is not advisable. There can be many reasons for your complaints and only a qualified Doctor can diagnose and treat. Since you have mood related symptoms my advice would be to meet a Psychiatrist.
