Dental scaling and polishing
My teeth has become more sensitive after the scaling and polishing process which I got through 2-3 days back , I have tickling sensation when I consume cold foods and there are gaps between gums after the process , what should I do, can u suggest what to do for overcoming these problems and can u tell me how long does this problem stay??
Due to the deposits , ur gums gave receded and there is an exposed part of the root portion of the tooth which has sensitive nerve endings and hence the sensitivity. I would advise you to use the Anti sensitivity tooth paste for around 10-15 days if the sensitivity is reducing please continue using the same.

if you feel gap is more between the gums and the tooth please visit a nearby dentist and you can get it filled with a cement which would definitely help you.

See due to plaque accumulation, your gums recedes, when u got ur plaque removed, the sensitive part of tooth gets exposed due to which you feel cold sensation. It will get normal in about 10 days. If the sensitivity is more, you can use any desensitizing toothpaste like shy-nm, thermoseal for 15 days.
