The crown and RCT per se don’t cause infection first of all.
Infection in the surrounding area occurs due to lack of good oral hygiene, like not brushing and flossing properly
after getting an RCT and crown.
If the crown made by your dentist is not proper and you have food lodgement in that area that causes infection.
If the RCT, crown and hygiene everything is good then their are no chances.
Consult your dentist again, he might help you well.
