One of my broken teeth is broken. If I go for dental filling, how long will it take to complete? Is there any specific step need to take before?

just have to check by taking x-ray whether pulp is involved or not and to what extent teeth is broken .If pulp is not involved it can be completed in one sitting bt if pulp is involved u would have to go with RCT and crown.Better to visit a dentist as near as you.
Next Steps
1 visit to nearest dentist and also would suggest for x-ray and then go for treatment accordingly mentioned above.
