I understand your concern . Delayed periods are multifactorial so we cannot come to a conclusion without detailed analysis. We have to run some blood investigations and usg scans if required only after eliciting proper history. So , pls contact personally in practo. Thank you

A delay in periods of around 2 months is quite common in young women and in most cases does not indicate any serious problem, especially since you have had a similar episode in the past where periods were delayed and then resumed on their own. Such menstrual irregularities are most often due to hormonal imbalance, which can be triggered by stress, anxiety, changes in weight, sleep disturbance, recent illness, or medications/supplements (including immune-boosting tablets). When periods are delayed, the uterine lining continues to build up, which explains why you earlier had prolonged bleeding (around 11 days) once the period started. This pattern is commonly seen in anovulatory cycles and is usually functional and not dangerous.
Next Steps
The first and most important step is to rule out pregnancy if there is any possibility, by doing a urine pregnancy test. If pregnancy is ruled out, common causes include PCOS, thyroid imbalance, or stress-related hormonal changes, all of which are treatable. At this stage, there is no need to panic. I would advise consulting a gynecologist for proper evaluation. Basic blood tests (such as thyroid profile and hormonal tests, if needed) and an ultrasound may be advised. Please avoid self-medication to induce periods.
Health Tips
Seek medical attention urgently only if you develop very heavy bleeding, severe lower abdominal pain, dizziness, or weakness. Good luck!!

Since you mentioned that earlier also your periods came late and then you had prolonged bleeding for 11 days, this suggests a hormonal cycle disturbance, not something dangerous in most young women. At 24 years of age, this is usually not serious, but it should be evaluated properly. Do not take any medicine on your own to bring periods. Reduce stress, maintain regular sleep, healthy diet, and exercise. Treatment is usually simple and effective once the cause is known. Please don’t worry — many women experience this and recover well with proper care.
Next Steps
First, rule out pregnancy with a urine pregnancy test (if sexually active). 2. Consult a gynecologist for examination. 3. You may need simple tests like: Ultrasound pelvis Thyroid test (TSH)
