Hi, I would suggest you to go for X-ray and detailed diagnosis first. Deep bite can be the cause of the problem or an addictive factor, apart from that we also need to treat the damage already happened. Since you are complaining of pain initially there also might be some teeth or gum issue, like severe wear off of tooth surface or gum impingement. So do rule out that while continuing with the ortho treatment. Also ortho treatment takes time to give appreciable results. Consult your dentist for the same.

As you have mentioned pain in front teeth - there can be gum issue or teeth related issue . You need to find out what’s the cause of pain . Deep bite adds to the problem.
