Decay Tooth
Hi doctor,
My son is 2years 8months old 3 oh his tooth got decayed as per doctor suggestion have taken thrice to hospital in order to get habituated for cleaning in order to fill the tooth but my son is not at all cooperating crying a lot unable to handle him doctor is telling that he should not move while cleaning even the tongue as well we are worried like what will be the next way to approach and he didn't got the pain from decayed tooth. Can you please help me to resolve my son tooth issue am much worried about it.

Milk tooth will get replaced by permanent tooth but till that period you need to take a good care of them as well. Usually the upper front tooth is affected more compared to the lower front tooth(nursing bottle caries).
Brush their tooth 2 times daily .After 2years of age ,you can use a grain size fluoridated toothpaste for your kid (if he/she is able to spit).

It can be be Early Childhood caries( Nursing bottle caries). It occurs mainly due to bottle feeding ( like through the nipples of the bottle)

Hi,
It is difficult for a 2 year old to cooperate for a procedure. Alternate option is to make the child unconscious and to do the procedure. But that will be the last option. Do not worry. The dentist is specialized in handling kids your sons age.

Yes these are primary teeth but they play crucial role also so it is important to maintain them..
I advise you to visit the pedodontist they are experts in handling kids..
And they may also suggest you conscious Sedation for his well being if child is very reluctant to take the treatment
