Decay in wisdom teeth

I had sudden tooth ache from last few days and my wisdom tooth is having a cavity, so thought it was the reason but came to know that other tooth beside it is it issue and needs root canal treatment , so can some one suggest if RCT is the only way to get it now ?

Yes RCT is the only way...The other option would be extraction of tooth which I would not recommend.. Once the pain has started in the tooth it generally implies that the pulp of the tooth is involved. In that cases only RCT is the option. For further explanation please search for KVJ DENTAL CLINIC.

You haven't posted x-ray along with your query.RCT always decided after evaluating the x-ray of tooth.if cavity is deep approaching nerve or already approached ,then definitely you require RCT or if not RCT then extraction is only option to get relief from pain.in my opinion better you get a RCT done .It is always better to save natural tooth.otc painkiller will be helpful until your visit.
