Day and night contact lenses

Hi, I have a power of -2.25 on both eyes. I am using specs but want to switch to contacts. I recently found out about day and night contact lenses by Alcon which we can wear for 30 days continuously without removing..we can wear it even at night. Is it safe or will it cause any damage to my eye in the long turn.

Hello I don't recommend wearing contacts over eye day and night everyday.

They are known as extended wears. Though they are quite safe but some people have discomfort e.g. redness and irritation etc after prolong use and start using them as daily wears.
