Dark black patch near private area

Its patchy and their is itching. Sometimes its so itchy & it causes irritation & their is a mild discharge when ever their is itching. Am using a topical medication like itch guard. Whats the solution for this. I always keep the private area very clean by washing it often. How to overcome this?
