Hi 3.2 cm tumour is likely cancerous but the behaviour of cancer varies - smoe are very slow growing and some very aggressive and grow rapidly. The initial treatment is cystoscopy and resection of tumour. This procedure will confirm the nature of tumour and also give a grade and the depth of tumour. Further treatment depends on these findings. If tumour is very superficial, you will need cystoscopy on frequent basis- 3 monthly or 6 monthly or yearly. Some patients might additional chemicals instilled in bladder to prevent the tumour coming back frequently. If deep then you will need radiotherapy or surgery. It can be cured if it has not spread beyond the bladder wall. So please put your mind to rest.
