In one scan , no risk. Do CT SCAN when doctor prescribed. Don't do self

Hi, CT scan uses x rays which is a type of ionizing radiation. It used 7 m SV dosage which is equal to natural radiation a human exposed over 2 years. With one ct scan the risk is very very less but repeated scans can increase the blood cancer risk. Relatively children and women are at more risk than adult males.
Next Steps
avoid unnecessary ct scans until strictly recommend by ur dr
