What is a CRP test?? Is it restricted only to Liver?? Please let me know.. I have been having abdominal cramps And gastroenterologist has suggested to do this

CRP is a non specific test. CRP will be raised if there is any infection anywhere in the body. It is also raised under some other conditions. So it can't diagnose a problem. But it is for follow up during treatment.

Kindly do the CRP levels. That is C REACTIVE PROTEIN. In your case it may be used for diagnosing inflammatory bowel disease

Its reactive protien it results due to infection the damaged tissue it is observed in covid cases
