Cracked nipples and swollen areola

I have cracked nipples since many many years. I am also observing intermittent swelling and shrinking of areola along with some kind of pain/heat since last 10-15 days. They are swollen when I observe them and after touching for few seconds/minutes, it shrinks. Have u obseved such symptoms in patients that do not have cancer?

Are you lactating mother . Your symptoms are not very much suggestive of cancer but I'd advise you to visit a surgical oncologist.
