Does he have a cold or running nose? Because usually coughing at night could be due to a running nose which we call it as post nasal drip. Can give him ayp ascoril ls jr 4ml thrice a day for 5 days

Coughing needs proper evaluation. Maybe some infection, maybe asthma. For now, try nebulising him with levosalbutamol- 0.63 mg 4 times a day and budecort- 0.25 mg 2 times a day for 5 days. If you don't notice any improvement, or if cough worsens or there are other symptoms like fever/ drowsiness/ resp. Distress/ loose stools, contact doctor
