  4. Cough without cold. Any disease further?

Suddenly my mother starts coughing and it is uncontrollable being so bad sometime lungs pain starts ...we have consulted a doctor He said that everything is fine and medicines are in routine . my question is that without cold and any other symptoms how this cough khasi and ruining nose start and before a specific time it does not Stops. Is there may occure  any disease further?
