My Son is 2 years 4 months plus old. He has cough (Khansi). The doctor prescribed 2.5 ml Asthakind Junior DX. Is it safe? As it contains Dextromethorphan

If a qualified doctor has prescribed it, I believe he/she might have examined the child, considered side effects, and then chose to give it. I suggest you discuss with your doctor and clear your doubts.
