Cough followed by fever
My child has cough for more than two weeks.. we have visited to the doctor cople of times at first they have given budesol and cough stopped for a week but again it started last week, once again we have visited the hospital and they have changed the medicine to duolin which is a Nebulizer medicine. As per the doctor child is coughing because of throat infection and their is no flum but it did not work and child is getting fever also. Medicines given are Duolin, P250, Ambrodil S.
If getting fever and cough.. not settled with medications .. he needs to be reviewed. If fast breathing or difficulty breathing we should rule out pneumonia. He needs review with doctor with or without need for investigation according the clinical examination.. your doctor may ask for blood test or chest x Ray.
