I had my contrast CT scan of my thorax and abdomen all reports are normal will it cause cancer in future I am afraid of and I had only undergone only one CT scan in my lifetime anxiety is killing me and my shoulder blade area hurts sometimes I am not able to concentrate on my studies I am afraid and devastated 😟

One CT scan does not cause any cancer. It is only after multiple repeated scans that there is any risk of secondary cancers. By the way, why was the scan done and please share the report for further advise
