Sir,  You need to clinically evaluate your ear drums and go for audiometry if needed. The cause may be simple like wax,Perforation,middle ear fluid... which are curable or can be noise induced hearing loss which if intervened early can be curable. Do get examined by ENT Specialist. .it will allay your fears.. Take care..
