Basically four types of contact lens : daily disposable, fortnightly ,monthly & yearly. It depends on your financial pocket which lens you choose, but most of the girls are using contact lens which have to be changed once a year, you will have to take  precautions in all types of contact lens, properly cleaning hand& keeping it in solution after taking it out ,you  will be trained by doctors  how to use it.No contact lens is advised for continuous 24 hrs.

Please share the glass number (spectacle prescription). There are toric lenses available for people with cylindrical number. Any contact lens will require care regarding handling and care. I prefer daily disposables as you will not be repeating them and hence less chance of getting infection. All soft lenses are good. You can go for the trial lenses to see what material suits you best.
