Yes, hot objects affect plastic and releases chemicals like polyvinylacetic acid. So avoid hot foods in plastics.

Foods, particularly hot ones packed in plastic is not healthy,  but immediately no harm. Avoid it if frequent.

Please do not worry — this is a very low risk situation. The concern with plastic is that when food is very hot, the heat can cause trace amounts of plastic chemicals to leach into the food. However, you mentioned that by the time you received and ate the momos, they were already cold — which means even that minimal leaching concern does not fully apply here. Plastic leaching is most relevant when food is actively steaming hot and in contact with plastic for extended periods regularly. A single, one-off, incidental exposure like this — especially when the food had already cooled — is not going to cause any health harm.
Next Steps
No testing, no medication, and no doctor visit is needed for this. You can eat normally and there should be no symptoms from this. As a good habit going forward, try to avoid storing or transporting very hot food in plastic containers — use steel, glass, or ceramic alternatives. Please consult me directly on Practo for a detailed evaluation.

You are completely safe. A single instance of eating food kept in plastic for 30 minutes will not cause any immediate or loong term harm.
