Compression fracture

Hi, My father has a compression fracture ( Subacute vertebral fractures at D4 and D11 as described. Possibility of benign /osteoporotic fractures ) Marrow edema seen along the lateral aspect of right lower (10th /11th ribs). Suggested further It has been almost 2 months and pain is increasing day by day, he cannot move and stand for even 2 mins, please guide us.

Spine needs to be protected before one tries to stand. This is possible both internally and externally. Bone osteoporosis management needs to be accurate if at all conservative measures are being tried for recovery and managing his case.
Next Steps
Pain increasing can be either due to nerve compression or ongoing osteoporosis and collapse.

Needs evaluation for osteoporosis including serum protein electrophoresis . Pain can be managed after confirming stability of fracture with facet joint injection.
