do not use combination of drugs, it contains three drugs, now you may give 0.5 ml whenever required. it makes symptoms free . it is not a cure. if required , give it otherwise do not give it use Individual drug. Better still Next time try Kadda with Indian Herbs
Next Steps

Firstly Common cold does not warrant cough syrups. The only medicine which can be given for short period of time is cetrizine. This medicine also would not treat the disease but will make the illness much bearable. Secondly, Common Cold is a self limiting disease and hence does not require antibiotics. Exceptions: common cold with ear aches- antihistamines are needed. Antibiotics may be needed based on clinical ear examination. Do's 1) plenty of oral fluids 2) warm water to drink 3) warm saline water gargles thrice a day ( for above 4-5 years old) 4) supervised steam inhalation ( for age above 12 years) 5) nasal saline drops to relieve the blockage Don't's 1) dextromethorphan containing cough syrups 2) chlorpheniramine , phenylephrine containing medicines . 3) steam inhalation in young children - as there's no way of ensuring safety from burns and scalds in them. 4) nebulizer machines 5) oxymetazoline or similar compounds based nasal drops. ( Rebound blockage rates are higher with these medications)
Next Steps
Young children with complaints of cough and cold should always be seen by a Pediatrician either physically or via video consultation as many serious conditions ( coryza, Acute otitis media, viral pneumonia acute bronchiolitis) do begin with cough cold fever symptoms initially.
