My daughter is 8 months her weight is 6.3 kg now she got severe cold full sneezing and watery eyes so my doctor had prescribed relent syrup 1ml and ascorul LS junior 2ml after giving ascoril her cough at night increased can I give mucolite drops ..she will not eat cerelac properly

These cough syrups are best avoided in children below 2 years of age. It is better to give nasoclear drops 4-6 times/day (put 1 drop in each nostril) and clean the nose afterwards. If the baby appears lethargic and is not feeding properly or having fast breathing, consult a pediatrician
