Good morning I understand your concern. For cough and cold, antibiotics are not required .However, if the patient has been detected COVID positive and /or running fever along with cough and cold, antibiotics may be necessary but for that I would like to know in details about the symptoms.
Next Steps
Meanwhile start on the following: Tab Levocetrizine 5mg 1tab once at bedtime for 05days Syp Ascoril D 1tspf thrice a day for 05days Betadine gargles 4times a day Steam inhalation with Karvol twice a day. Plenty of warm water orally.
Health Tips
If the symptoms persist for 02days,Kindly get a COVID-19 TEST via RTPCR on Day 3 of the symptoms. Kindly follow up on my chat for further evaluation. Regards
