After 25 days of surgery he caught cold again probably on use of chalk piece at home. Yellow mucus day 1 and day2. Cough n vomit in afternoon sleep. Mouth breathing since 2 days. We are continously giving medicine either for ear infection or cold even after surgery. Medicine  given zyr cold pulmoclear refzil o 125mg syrup morning and night. My worry is why is my son not recovering yet. He is 2.5 year old

During adenoidectomy if there was injury to eustuchian tube or scarring of eustuchian tube area, ear is not properly ventilated and results in repeated ear infection. Usually below 4 years adenoidextomy is not recommended. In extreme cases only will do. It may take time.
Next Steps
Examination of the kid is needed. Better to consult.
