Clavicle fracture issue

I have right hand shoulder clavicle fracture for last 10 days and my doctor applied figure 8 plaster their bit due to my exams are coming i have to read and write due to which their is pain in my shoulder. Please suggest can i continue my study or specially writing or this thing made any impact on my clavicle fracture heeling time. Please suggest.
