I'm a patient of Chrons disease and under treatment with Pentasa for last four years. I have been advised to taper the dose. Last two months, I was taking 1gm Pentasa twice daily. As health is normal, Please advise if it can be reduced to 1 gm daily now before stopping completely and observe.

U can't stop the tablets, as it may exacerbate again the symptoms, u can reduce and can have at a low maintenance dose....upto 500mg to 1gm daily
