Chronic skin problem

History- Had Steatocystoma multiplex on scrotum & had 2 lesions removed bcz of itch & size. 20 days after procedure removed crust from healing lesion and itching started abruptly from next day. Symptoms-1.Itching around lesions and in the scrotum area 2.Irritation of skin on contact with hair, own skin or clothes 3.Too much movement of sac which causes irritation and distraction 4.Sometimes numbness/pain and slight sensation in urethra or muscle 5.Slight pain when foreskin brushes against cloth 6.Itching and irritation has spread to penis as well 7.Hair usually stand up and touch against the skin causing irritation. Prescription till now- 1.Steroid & moisturizer for dry skin- tried for 1 month 2.Another moisturizer for dry skin-1 month 3. Lipidz cream and calamine lotion and amitriptyline for lsc-15 days 4.Topzee-M cream and lipidz for allergy/infection- 6 days Antihistamine for past 3 months daily. Summary- Itch still persists after 3 months & gets better then worse in cyclic way.

How was the diagnosis made? The creams you’re using might help the dermatitis and itch component but won’t do much for the actual lesions. You can try topical tacrolimus or laser therapy.
