Dear Practo user , there can be one or multiple reasons for chronic back pain due to Intervertebral disc, nerve impingement , Facet joints, muscles spasm or sacroiliac joints involvement . We need to establish diagnosis to find source of pain ( pain generator ) & taking care of that , than taking pain killers or doing any Physiotherapy without proper consultation , as in some cases may aggravate your symptoms .
Next Steps
Consult any interventional pain specialist , Orthopaedician dealing in spine or neurosurgeon for proper diagnosis to elicit source
Health Tips
Don’t self medicate or start any physical therapy unless source is found , as it may aggravate and further worsen your problems
