Hello Doctors Is cholesticis in pregnancy a genetic disorder??? is there any treatment to cure during pregnancy??? I am worried because my mother and her sisters had cholesticis in their pregnancy...

At least no genes have been attributed to this disorder so far. It comes during pregnancy, goes off after delivery and doesn't come back inbetween the pregnancies.

It's a reversible condition, after delivery it will improved spontaneously, don't take much stress .Visit your obstetrician, it's treatable . Antenatal check up and foetal monitoring is must .
