Cholestatis in 37 weeks of pregnancy

I have been diagnosed with cholestatis in 37 weeks of pregnancy which is causing itching all over the body. Doc has recommended udiliv 300 and Allegra medicine. She has also told she will not wait beyond 39 weeks. is it safe to wait for 2 more weeks for baby? Does it cause any issue in delivery or baby? My sgpt and sgot levels are 139 and 220+.

1 more week is enough for waiting.. LFT  to be repeated to see the levels.. Strict counting of fetal movements to be done and biophysical profile of baby to be done.. Better to induce labour at 38 weeks after these test and monitoring

Single LFT report is not sufficient, need to check levels are decreasing or not even after starting treatment. As per normal protocol we don't wait till spontaneous labor or till 40weeks, usually pregnancy with Cholestatis are induced at 38weeks ( also depends on how severe Cholestatis is ) . Strict fetal heart rate monitoring to be done (using CTG machine), weekly LFT. I am hoping your doctor must have suggested you corticosteroids inj for lung maturity. Keep count of fetal movements.

You should be delivered by 38 weeks. You take cortisone injections before that 12 mg two doses 24 hours apart. After 48 hrs of last injection go for induction. What is uSG findings
