Chills without fever

Getting chills without fever ( for my husband) and he feel dam tied , before getting chills he get big yawns continuesly , eyes will become red, voice gets change. Chills stay for sometime like 10min - 30min. Pls let us the reanson for this and help us in contacting the good doctor.
