Hi Doc, My 3 year old child is always sticking to me, not letting me do any work. As I do work from home, I let him in my parents house whole day and pick him in the evening. Also when he was 11 months old I had left him in my home town and visit him on weekends. This continued till he turned 2 years. Now he is with me except day times. I cannot cook, I cannot do any single activity when he is around. Though I play his favorite cartoon, give him all the toys he is continuous behind me nagging and crying, crawling on floor or hitting his head against wall and he drags attention towards him. My husband doesn't cooperate in any way. As iam having excessive stress at work and I beat my son when he irritates me and I start crying after beating him up. Please guide me right approach whether I should get diagnosed or my son. Regards, Jayapriya
