What is the adequate length of cervix during pregnancy? My cervix measures 2.9 cm, my doctor told me to put a preventative cerclage at 12 or 13 weeks. Is it really something I should be worried about? I lost my 1st pregnancy due to incompetent cervix.

Since you have been diagnosed with incompetent cervix, its a good measure to have a preventative cerclage as early , because as pregnancy progresses, your cervix may open and you can lose the baby.
