Cerclage Advice Needed
I am 19 weeks pregnant and my cervix length is 3.1 cm.
Three weeks ago it was also 3.1 cm only.
There is no change.This is my first pregnancy, natural conception.
Had SCH which has been resolved fully now.
No shortening or funneling as of now.
My doctor is pressuring me to get a stich asap. As per my knowledge stich without any urgency at this point has more disadvantage than benefits.
Do I need Cerclage ?

Cerclage is indicated for medical reasons such as
1) previous history of 2nd trimester miscarriages or preterm births
2) ultrasound suggestive of short cervix less then 2.5 cms
3) as an emergency rescue when cervix starts dilating.
