Ceramic VS Zirconium

Hello Doctors, I have my right top colar to be replaced from Metal to Ceramic or Zirconium. I have visited a detal and they are charging 12000 ra for Zirconium one. Is this worth buying? What happens if I go to Ceramic Cap? What would be the difference between Ceramic and Zirconium in terms of Life and Stability? I have 4 teeth to change into CAP.. Please suggest! Reply to this is highly appreciated!

Hello sir...   Both ceramic and zirconia are tooth coloured only. In terms of strength and colour matching zirconia is better than ceramic.... Cost wise zirconia is little costlier than ceramic... Both are good life giving and stable only... It depends on your affordibility to choose your crown material.....and the price of 12,000 rs for zirconiaum is reasonable only

If you are hardcore eater, thn go with ceramic crowns depending on the warranty and lab that They send price varies. Go with the crown which has more years of warranty. Quality will be good.

Zirconia crowns are costing in this range only 10kto12k depending on the lab  and are  indicated when esthetics is the primary concern  as it is a molar tooth u can go for ceramic ones . They are also long lasting .

Hello, 12000 for zirconium is reasonable For a molar, being a back teeth I would advise you to opt for the ceramic cap. That would be cheap, durable, long lasting. Zirconium is usually preferred for front teeth for aesthetics Metal facing ceramic is also a good option
