In case of wisdom tooth my advise is to get it removed as that tooth is of no use

If it is fully erupted and you don't want to get it removed then you can go for Root canal treatment and crown ....and if it is partially or UN erupted then you can go for removal ....for any possibilities you have to visit the dentist ....regards

Third molar usually go for extraction but previously go for x ray of the tooth and start the medication before the procedure. Regards, Dr Vishal Jain, Vitaldent India Faridabad

Extraction - after you take an x-ray. At present take medications.

dear sir/mam.....it need emergency management.if tooth has erupted completely and not impinging upon the cheek then it can be saved by root canal treatment else on slightest gum swelling means it is impacted or not getting enough space to be emerging out to cavity to help in chewing food then surgical removal is mandatory, it would always be suggested to post the x-ray of the tooth, visit near by dentist immediately for attention.Do stop any oral habits.

Unbearable pain indicates that either the wisdom tooth which you mentioned has a Cavity or the adjacent tooth may have infection very deep involving the pulp or the nerve of the tooth. X-ray has to taken for the proper diagnosis. If it's only wisdom tooth that is involved then extraction is better. If the adjacent tooth has problem involving pulp, root canal treatment would be possible. Please take painkiller for the relief of pain, also do a lot of warm saline rinses as home remedy for the pain relief.

It can be filled , but if it's involved the pulp it has to be extracted because no other treatment will give 100% results.

Your symptoms point towards a definite treatment requirement in that tooth..... the two choices that you have are extraction and RCT.... and the right treatment can be devised based on the radiographic picture.... so please visit your dentist as soon as possible for the correct diagnosis and institution of the right treatment plan.... Regards.....

Clinical and radiological examination would be required for the final treatment planning but most probably it would go for extraction. But as of now pain relief with proper medication is the first line treatment.
