Have proximal caries -tooth 14,15 I also have caries in wisdom tooth. It's visible from many years... I don't have any pain. Should I wait or get the treatment done. I was advised ipc.. I am concerned that if ipc fail I need to get rct.. I think if it's not hurting let's not touch it as it's been years

Dear Practo user , Proximal caries tend to progress rapidly, invading the pulp and causing severe pain, which may eventually require root canal treatment (RCT). For wisdom teeth, if there is no pain or other symptoms, a filling is often the preferred treatment. I strongly recommend getting your proximal caries treated as soon as possible to prevent further complications. Visit a nearby endodontist for timely intervention. U shuld get ur filling done otherwise it'll lead to RCT later on so better to save the tooth at this moment rather than waiting for the pain to occur and get the wisdom tooth extraction done
