Hi sir mother was diagnosed with adenocarcinoma in gall bladder and it is spread in liver (segment 6 and 4) how to check cancer stage. After liver surgery for segment 5 and 6 there is problem of ascites. please suggest remedy

Ascites can be because of liver decompansation or it can be malignant ascites. Please share reports of LFT, ascitic fluid cytology, latest ultrasound
