Hi..it could be constipation associated with the antibiotics and selective food eating .. please add roughages,fibers in her diet.. rest assured it has nothing to do with your cholecystectomy surgery..

Ask her to take plenty of fluids, and a less spicy diet.... continue the laxatives..
Usually this happens in the immediate post operative period and will be alright soon.
