Hello, i've asked a question here about whether if I can get rabies from a cat who was just recently vaccinated with anti-rabies (less than a week ago) and I'm getting my anti-rabies treatment (4th shot next week) and the answer was no. My problem is that the area where the cat poked me with their claws while they're grooming on my lap is hurting like I have some sort of burn. Is it possible that I'm imagining it? I've been rubbing the area all the time. I've started to put coconut oil in the area but it's not giving me any relief. Please help. I'm still worried that it's rabies. Thanks.
You should apply Cream/gel Lox 2 % every 6 hrs. and do not rub ,also do not put coconut oil ;apply this local anesthetic ,it will give tremendous relief...
