Can anyone say, is this a skipped beat?
Hi, I feel a little exploding sensation in my throat sometimes. I think this is my heartbeat. This sensation feels like my heartbeat has been stopped for one or two seconds. When My heart starts beating once again after the pause it starts beating too fast. I wanted to know if this is the same as heart palpitation ( skipped beats) or any other condition?

Normally you won't feel heart beat just like that unless you keep your hand on the left side below breast area.
If you can feel heart pounding sometimes, when you're just sitting, it's nothing but palpitations due to anxiety.
