Cabergoline 0.25 dosage correct or not

My doctor prescribed me cabergoline 0.25 mg 2 doses a week. My prolactin was 31. Is it ok? Will it have side effects? I don't have any symptoms of high prolactin though but i am still taking as a precautionary measure
